Membership renewal for 2019 - 2020 is required before you can enrol on a Summer Class in 2019.. The Spring Newsletter will contain a membership  renewal form and a Summer Class 2019 enrolment form. It will also include start dates for all Summer Classes. You can also renew your membership and enrol for summer classes online, from the time you receive the Spring Newsletter.

You will have the opportunity to play French Boules - a simple game with simple rules and easy to play - you just need 10% skill and 90% luck. (Sometimes the 10% skill is not that important!). Please 'phone David on 665843 for directions to his house in Netherton. NB If you were considering using the bus, there is a 15 min walk from the bus stop. The course will run for 6 weeks, starting at the beginning of July and the actual date will be given in the Spring Newsletter.

SU62      Gardening Group - Geoff Higgs

The gardening group meets every second and fourth Tuesday of the month throughout the summer starting after Easter and finishing just before the new September term starts. We mainly visit gardens nearby including members' own gardens, local authority nurseries, local 'Yellow book' private gardens that take group visits and some public gardens but we are open to suggestions for any kind of related garden activity. We start with a meeting to take ideas from the group and plan the programme together and end with a speaker session cum end of term party in the Mission. The aim is to provide a basic grounding in guitar technique for beginners and people who have been playing for a few months. Four basic right hand styles will enable you to play along with some well known popular songs. Knowledge of music is not essential.
