Qigong or Chi Kung comprises a series of ancient Chinese exercises. These exercises strengthen and mobilise muscles and joints as well as relaxing and revitalising mind and body. Tai Chi is a well researched form of movement, known to help with  maintaining physical and mental well-being. Improving balance, co-ordination, flexibility and strength along with concentration and relaxation. Beginners are very welcome, please wear loose fitting clothes with soft lightweight shoes.

Country Dancing

The purpose of the class is to have fun and pleasure in learning and dancing traditional English country dances from 17th Century to the present day.   These will include both Playford type dances (Jane Austen) and community/ceilidh dances. Music will be from tape recordings and CDs. All abilities and new members welcome.

Swimming for Fitness and Fun

If you can swim 25 metres come and join this happy group. The class is limited to 50 swimmers and it is divided into two equal groups to prevent overcrowding in the pool. The swimming times are 2-3 pm and 3-4 pm. New members should phone Anne on 519879 before the beginning of term to find out what time to attend. Wherever possible your preferred time will be accommodated if available. The length of the pool is 17.5 metres. Please note that the term fee for this class is £22.
