The Autumn and Spring Newsletters will be sent to all members by post.

The Autumn issue will contain a notice convening the AGM as stipulated by our constitution.

The Spring issue will contain information about summer events and summer classes and will include a membership renewal form for the year starting on 1 April. It will also include an enrolment form for SUMMER CLASSES ONLY. Applications for autumn classes will only be accepted after the new prospectus is issued, normally in late June.

Annual subscriptions must be renewed before (or at the same time as) applications for classes are made, and before other U3A events, groups or activities are undertaken. Please remember that renewing your subscription triggers the sending of your prospectus.

All members are encouraged to submit items to include in our newsletters. Let us hear about:

  • A course that you have particularly enjoyed
  • A Monday Talk that was very stimulating
  • A visit that surprised you
  • A class about which you think more members should know
  • A programme that would enhance our portfolio if only we had a tutor
  • News of retired members
