The Autumn and Spring Newsletters will be sent to all members by post.

The Autumn issue will contain a notice convening the AGM as stipulated by our constitution.

The Spring issue will contain updated information about summer classes, event reports and articles by memnbers. It will also include a membership renewal form for the year starting on 1 April and an enrolment form for SUMMER CLASSES ONLY. Applications for autumn classes will only be accepted after the new prospectus is issued, normally in late June.

Annual subscriptions must be renewed before (or at the same time as) applications for classes are made but Autumn Class enrolments will not be entered until after the prospectus has gone out in late June. They will then be dealt with strictly on a first come first served basis. Please remember that renewing your subscription and is essential to gain access to all Pay as you Enter U3A events and Walking and Cycling groups.

All members are encouraged to submit items to include in our newsletters. Let us hear about:

  • A course that you have particularly enjoyed
  • A Monday Talk that was very stimulating
  • A visit that surprised you
  • A class about which you think more members should know
  • A programme that would enhance our portfolio if only we had a tutor
  • News of retired members
