Annual Events

This is the only meeting of the year when members can come along to hear reports on the organisation of U3A and to elect Committee members. The Charity Commission require us to hold a quorate AGM every year to enable us to receive our annual accounts and to be eligible as an organisation to claim Gift Aid. Please attend!
After last year’s great success, the AGM will again be followed by a concert performed by our music groups and choirs. Those who attended last year will know what a treat is in store from our talented musicians so do come along, give them your support and enjoy the music.

The U3A annual Carol service will take place on Tuesday 8 December 2026 in the Huddersfield Parish Church at 10.30 am.
Once again we hope to welcome Vintage Brass as our guests, and the U3A choirs will also take part.
Coffee and biscuits are served afterwards giving members the opportunity to chat.
We take up a retiring collection for a local charity, which in 2025, raised £600 in aid of the Forget Me Not Trust.
